CHARLESTON (UPI) — Gary ‘G. Taylor, 26, Charleston, was charged Wednesday with man slaughter in the traffic death of Mrs. Audrey Comer, 24, of near Ripley. State Police said Taylor was the driver of a State Road Commis sion truck which collided Tuesday with a car in which Mrs. Comer was riding. She died in a hospital here a short time after the acci dent on U. S. 21 near Sissonville. Taylor waived to the grand jury at a hearing and was freed on bond. Taylor said the brakes in his truck failed, causing the accident. Mrs. Comer’s husband, Marshall, driver of the car, was slightly injured.
