Miss Florence Dreschuer will teach Barrington Center school next year.Miss Opal Helm has been engaged to | teach Buckhn school the coming year. ;At the box social held at Lageschulte school, Friday evening, 17 boxes sold for$24.Miss Nellie Cowden of Elgin spent several days with her sister, Mrs. J. W.Waterman.Mr. and Mrs. John Waterman of Elgin and Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Todd of Dundee attended Memorial services at the North church.Miss Ruth Boyer who has taught Barrington Center school two years will teach the coming year near her home in BloomCook County.There was a large attendance at the entertainment given by Waterman school Friday evening. Seats were placed in the yard. About 30 lunch boxes were sold by Will Calbow. The $*22 raised will be spent for books and apparatus for the school.Memorial services were held at the North Church, Sunday afternoon. The G. A. R. and W. R. C. of Barrington attended in a body. Miss Addie Filbert read a poem, Mr. Hubbard gave a short talk, Barrington Center school sang three patriotic songs and Rev. Mattison of Bar rington M. E. church preached an appro priate sermon. The graves of the soldiers buried in the cemetery were decorated by the soldiers.
