David Casey pleads not guilty to playing the practical joke on Attor neys Cole and Colley that landed them In elty court last Saturday morning, charged with having in their possession trout under six Inch es long. Yesterday Mr Casey came to town, looking, as he usually spoke, spick and span. He was joked about the joke played on the lawyers, but he pleaded not guilty. is explana tion of the affair was that some other fishermen, fearing they would get into trouble with the law, managed to get the forbidden trout tnt the lawyers’ baskets. There were a num ber of fishermen in Falls Village the day Attorneys Cole and Colley were there, but who caught the email trout no one seems to know. The arrest of the local attorneys caused more than a ripple of excitement in the northern part of the state would even think of theim he knew the one who ca ll Casey has the rep being quite a joker, but he says this was no joke, and whoever perpe trated it must have a peculiar idea of what constitutes fun. Before leaving for home he called Attorneys Cole and Colley and dinner with them.
