June 1st the Montana Central will resume operation of the line from Great Falls to Sand Coulee, known as the Sand Coulee branch, a distance of 14*£ miles, which heretofore has been oper-: ated by the Great Northern.Win. Bogy, Walter Peckham and Jean Brug have, incorporated the Castle | Mountain Telephone company, with a j capital stock of 812,500 in 25,000 shares of 50 cents each. The line will run from Townsend via White Sulphur Springs j to Castle.Thomas Fitzpatrick a railroad section hand of the Montana Union, was caught under the wheels of a passing train at Butte and killed. Ilis body was horribly mutilated. He came to this country from Cass county, Iowa. He was about 40 years of age.The branch line of the Great Northern from Allen, Montana, to Monarch. 42 miles, known as the Neihart and Parker extension, is completed and trains will be put on June 1st. The stations are as follows: Allen, Swift, Beulah,Belt, Armington, Goodman. Riceville, Monarch.
