When they woke op In the morning it was raining hard a d little rivnlets ran in on all sides of the tents. It was quite cold also; the men all had a pain and there was a line of them in tront of the surgeon’s tent. The surgeon said all he had was some castor oil, but woold try to have some painkiller soon, it was quite e disappointment./ There are not enough tents for the men; they have to sleep seven or eight in a tent, and a ‘‘pint” doesn’t go very far among aeren or eight. There is plenty to eat and plenty of fellows to eat it.The Italians captured yesterday were ander guard all night and tais morning the sheriff and deputies brought them to MetTroops are coming all the while and there are about 500 there now. Pontius Htiniz bugle corps are the pride of the regiment.
