D. 1658, Samuel Criswell and Margaret Criswell, his wife, and Robert Criswell and Mary Criswell, his wife, executed unto Abner Davison, as Trustee, a certain Deed of Trust,conveying to said Trustee the land in Scott county, Iowa, described as follows, to wit: The south west quarter ot Section No. twenty j'As |, in Township No. seventy-nine |79] north, of fiang^ four [4J east of the fifth 15tb] P. M-; which said conveyance was duly recorded in the Recorder's oftce for said Scott county, in Hook *PM of Mortgaged, at page 70. Said conveyance was tnade by the said Samuel Cri# well and wW«imlt; «W Hob-rrt Criswell omA -**•» ** the puqioae of eecenag ih« payment ot their four certain promissory notes, and the interest thereon, signed by Mid Samuel Criswell and Robert Criswell, dated the Sth day of November, A. D. 1868, as follows. One for eleven hundred [1100] dollars, payable to one liiram Miller, November 6th, 18 *9; and one for one hundred and fifty (166] dollars, payable to said Hiram Miller, November 6th, 1S69; and also one for eight hundred and eighty [880] dollars, payable to one Elias R. Williams, November 8tb, 1869, ton which last note there is endorsed forty-on# 49-100 dollars); and one for one hundred and twenty I Ho’ dollars, payable to ssid Lhas R. Williams, November 6th, 1869.And new,all of said notes having become dne end payable, and the said Samnsl Criswell aad Robert Criswell having failed to pay the same, I, Abner I la vidson, Trustee as aforesaid, do heraby give this pnblie notice, that by virtue of the power which Is in me vested by said Dead of Trust. I w«ll,on Saturday the 9th Jay of June, A. D. 1969 at the hour of two o’clock in the afternoon of eaid day, at the Court House door, in the city of Davenport, expooe aad offer for sale, at pnblie auotien, the parcel of land above described, or so much thereof as shall be neoeseery to satisfy and pay the amount of eaid notes, with interest on said notes to the day of mle, together with all the cnets and eipenses attending said sals, costs of this no-tic# and Trustee's fees.Dated this 14th day of May, A.
