Pine Knot White SulphurSPRINGS.MTHIS delightful summer retreat, situated 18miles from the City of Columbus, will be open ed by the proprietors on the 1st June next.— At great expense they have erected new buildings, of such a character as to accommodate all their old customers and such new friends as may honor them with their patronage.A new Hotel, with large commodious rooms, including a ball-room and Billiard room, with all the necessary accommodations of each, has been erected on new ground, and will be ready by the 1st June next. Besides the Hotel, single and double Cabins will be atthe command of individuals or families, as may be required.The Sulphur Water of these Springs is unsurpassed in the South—hundreds of certificates of its healing and strengthening qualities might be easily procuredand offered to the public—and when we add that theBathing preparations and facilities are equal to those of any watering place North or South, we say nothing more than the facts justify.Pine Knot is located 18 miles from Columbus by thecarriage road, and is easily accessible from No. 3 onthe Muscogee Railroad, by an agreeable drive of six miles.Arrangements have been made with Asa W.
