RUTH JANSMARuth Jansma (nee Brei), a 40-year resident of Thornton and a retired librarian at Thornton Public Library, died Sunday, May 26, in Osage Beach, Mo.A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. June 7 at Thornton United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Kaller officiating.The former Ruth Brei was born April 28,1913 in Homewood. She was a homemaker.She is survived by a daughter, Ginny Hunley of Crown Point, Ind.; two sons, John of Leesburg, Ind. and Jerry of Lake Ozark, Mo.; three sisters, Helen Cioni of Dolton, Alice Holl of Blue Island, and Mae Evert of Homewood; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
