The event was mnn-sored bv 'the Fairlie Home Demonstration club in the interest of the Sonora cemetery.The visitors met at the Community Center at 0 a.m. nt noon a. basket lunch was served. James Wincford. Churcn of Christ minister, gave toe invocation.At 1 p.m. the Sonora crmc-tcrv association held » busmen mealing. Clifton Laird. Commerce Church ol Christ rr.in.stcr,gave the opening prayer.Mrs. Clyde Rountree, president of the Fairlie Home Demonstration club, expressed appreciation j of the group for the coooeratlon of the community and friends in the cemetery work and anting-inp the homecoming.Frank Ellis, president-elect of (he association, presented plans for next year and read the new by-laws.Following the business meeting. everyone was invited to visit the cemetery to see the new granite pillars recently erected atthe gale.The new officers of the association will assume charge alter January 1.Dona lions to the cemetery curing the day totaled S200.Hostesses Sunday for the Home Demonstration club included Hmcfc Margie Burt.
