The Kelberer home is across the G. N. right of way, northwest of the depot. The dog rushed about the neighborhood in a crazy manner that very naturally led many to fear it was a case of rabies.It rushed into Judge Gordon's residence just west of the Kelberer home. Like a small cyclone it went about the rooms and was said to have snapped at Mrs. Gordon's little daughters. As it leaped into a bedroom Mrs. Gordon thoughtfully closed the door. The captive made a mess of the bed covers but was subdued and taken home.An excited crowd gathered, armed with an assortment of weapons. Assurance was given that the dog was not mad but in a spasm of fits.in the evening the dog got loose again and went tearing into the Great Northern depot waiting room. It jumped through the ticket window and bounded onto desks and tables, overturning everything loose and throwing the transportation business into confusion for the time.
