Mr. and Mrs. Q. C. McCracken and son, Frank McCracken, and George Lapping, motored to Indianapolis 'yesterday to attend tbe races. Mrs. George Lapping went by train last I night, joining the party this morning.| Dr. Conrad Broecker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Broecker, 1101 Kast Spring street, was appointed interne at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, for the summer. Dr. Broecker left tbe first of this week to assume his duties.
