Paul Koslowski, then found guilty of murder at Mac Gtegor and sentenced to be hanged in the precincts of the Portage jail, has been reprieved and the se tence commuted to penal servitude for life. ‘ Word from Ottawa was received] in Portage on Tuesday to that effect, and Koslowski will excape ithe gallows. i
