Max*• well on Fair River, Lincoln County.It was the writer's pleasure to enjoy 1- a long acquaintance with this gentie woman, who has so recently left us for a brighter home. Her face was uii index to the love ami peace that dwelt within her heart, anil were manifested in her life:and the words of trust we [ have heard her speak, were but tin* ex prossion of those Christly principles that .actuated her being. She was an earnest and constant reader of her Hi ble. and had a fondness for talking about the precious truths contained therein. The trust she manifested in \ lier Heavenly Father, rendered her very presence almost an inspiration. It is _ always sad to cl ronicle the death of a loved one; hut just here the Alltel of consolation whispers to us It is lu st.(bid does all thint's right, and when ever H«- afflicts. Her remains j n were laid to rest in the Fair River I cemetery, surrounded by a large con course of relatives and sympathizing . 11 friends. In these hours of anguish.1 when (ioil in His wisdom removes our loved ones, words of friends however j sympat he! ieally spoken, are inadequate to the binding up of our bleeding | I wounds.
