Smith, professor of hilosophy at the University of Chicago and former con gressman-at-large from Illi nois, Will deliver the main ad dress at the Commencement of the Class of ° 42 of Proviso Township high school tonight (Friday) in the Proviso field house His subject will be “Democratic Education for War and Peace.” Climaxing a week of activi ties which started withe Special service last Sunday night, the Commencement will ring down the curtain on the festivities for 814 seniors. Lines of seniors marching to the traditional] strains of‘Pomp and Crcumstance’ will start the ceremony, followed by an invocation by the Rev. Basil Holt, pastor of the First Chris tian church Maywood. The voices of the senior members of the choir under the direc tion of R. Lee Asburn, head of the music department, will furnish the music.
