Betler-Clark Davis, W. Va, May 29—An nouncements have been received here of the marvinee on December 28th, 1935, of Miss Catherine Clark, daughter of P. C. Clark, of Davis, and Edward Betler, of Pickens, W. Va. The ceremony was performed at St. Veronica's rectory, Davis, by Rev. FP. A. Spillar. The bride is a graduate of a Philadelphia Catholic school for girls, and of normal de partment, Davis Elkins College, and has taught school at Pickens, W. Va. for the last seven years. Mr. Betler is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Betler, of Pickens. Harper-Triplett Announcement was made today of the marriage of Winifred Irene Triplett of Elkins, W. Va. to Stel man Wade Harper of Thomas, W. Va. The wedding took place in Huntingtown, W. Va. on Saturday, April 25, 1936, with the Rev. Ss. B. Hart officiating. The ring cere mony was used. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Triplett of Elkins. She is a graduate of Elkins High School and an honor graduate from the science department of Davis and Elkins College, class of 1934. She was a member of the chemistry club, and was very active in music. Was a member of the glee club and orchestra both when she was in high school and college. For the past two years she has been a teacher of Science and mathematics In the Harman High School. Mr. Harper is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Minor Harper of Harman, W. Va. He is a graduate of Parsons High School. Later he graduated from Shepherd College and West Virginia University, class of 1933. While in college he actively engaged in athletics. He is now principal of the Thomas grade school and a teacher of physics in the Thomas High School. Afr. and Mrs. Harper will spend the summer in New York where Mr. Harper will continue work on his master’s degree at Columbia Uni versity. Upon their return they will reside in Thomas where the groom is employed. Beichie-Klosterman Frostburg, May 29—James Francis Beichie, son of John Briehie, Yale Summit, and Miss Loretta Marie B Klosterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klosterman, of Eckhart, were married this morning in St. Michael's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Joseph A. Weber, who was also the celebrant of the nuptial Tow, miass. Mrs. Richard Goldsworthy, a church organist, played the wedding amarches and the garachial school: children sank a hymn and recited tthe Rosary and Litany during the mass. Joseph Barry, of Eckhart, and Miss Mary Beichie, sister of the bridegroom, were the attendants. The bride wore a long gown of pink mousseline de soie, with large, pink picture hat and pink slippers, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and white Jark spur, tied with a white satin ribbon. Miss ‘Belchie wore a blue mousseline de isoie gown, pink hat and pink slip pers and carried a shower bouquet of deep yellow roses and blue Jark ‘spur tied with pink satin ribbon. A breakfast, followed by a recep tion, was served at the Beichie home in Vale Summit. Mr. and Mrs. Bai chie left for a honymoon trip by mator 19 Western cities. Following thheir return they will reside on, Frost avenue.
