As soon as the news reached Judgu Ross he adjourned the city court also. Shortly afterward a meeting of tha Macon bat was held, with Judge Gus-tln presiding. Mr. Washington Dessau addressed the meeting briefly anlt;1 moved that a committee be appointed to oonfer with the family In carrying out the arrangements for the funeral, and that the bar attend In a body.
