Death of a Promising Child.—Little Charlie Beck ley, whose serious illness was noticed in Tub News, died at the refilleiHje of his grandmother, Mrs. G. Beck ley, South Market st., or] Wednesday of rheumatism j of the brain. He was the onlv son of Constantine and Cornelia Beck ley, and was eight years and twenty-one days old. - The funeral took place on Friday evening at four o'clock, interment waemade in St. John's Catholic cemetery.
