Citizens For Extension ServiceCommittee appointments for the up-coming Extension referendum were recently announced by chairman C. Mac Swaar of Mason City.Swaar is a prominent hog farmer and is active in the Extension program. He currently serves as treasurer of the Agriculture Extension Council.Other committee chairmen are Finance -Frank Cook, Havana; Speakers Bureau -Mrs. Ernest Dierker f Kilbourne and Mrs. Louis Busch, Havana; Canvassing - Mrs. Ralph Heinhorst, Easton; Publicity -Mrs. Walter Lynn, Mason City and Miss Carol Kreiling# Havana.Committee members serving on the various committees are: Finance Comm. - ErnestBeebe, Manito; Dave Rhinehart, Havana;Les Mather, Mason Citv; Albert Krause Jr., Easton; and John Harfst, Easton. Publicity Comm. - Roberta Johnson, Manito and Mrs. Harold Wheat, San Jose. Speakers Bureau Comm. - Elmer Meeker, Mason City, Raymond Markert, Havana, Gerald Bonnet, Havana, William Velde, New Holland, Albert Liehr, Manito, Morris Bell, Chandlerville and John Schaffer, Mason City. Canvassing Comm. - Homemakers Extension Assn. - Mrs. Gene Danenberger, Chandlerville, Mrs. Eugene Ringhouse, Easton, Mrs. John Peroutka, Mason City, Mrs. Rudolph Kolves, Bath,Mrs. Virgil Strader, Easton, Mrs. Henry Wahlfeld, [Forest City, Mrs. Frank Sublett San Jose, Mrs. D. We must do our share to keep this county program. It is like any other cost-sharing federal and state pregram. They put up 80 % of the cost and we must do our share for the other 20%.
