Mrs. Kate A. McDonnell, aged 43 years, 8 months and 20 days, beloved wife of John E. McDonnell, died at her home, 1301 West Babcock street, at 1 o'clock yesterday (Tuesday) morning, following an illness of sev eral months. The funeral, arrangements for which were in charge of Funeral Director H. F. West, was held this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2 o'clock, from the West funeral chapel, the Rev. A. L. Chapman, pastor of the Payne Memorial Christian church, of ficiating. The singers were Mrs. J. H. Harris, Mrs. A. J. Walrath, W. D., Bell and W. T. Brandenburg, Mrs. Algy Brandenburg being the accom panist. _ Interment was in the Boze man cemetery, the pall bearers, all nephews of the deceased, being, Wil liam Tinder, Eugene Tinder, Roy Tinder, Emery Bull, Will Me and Ralph Mickelberry.
