B. B. thru its chairman, Philip i Stein and Secretary 1.. Edward Lash- , man desires to inform the readers of the Denver Jewish News to whoui to j refer such matters as come to their notice. They say:Altho the important work of the Anti-Defamatiot^licague of the Independent Order of B'nai R’ritli Is vyell-l-now nto the readers of the Jewish press, there still are many worthy mid well-meaning persons who take it upon themselves to act personally in eases of defamation against the Jews.By doing so, they often act too hastily, j Kanvai not giving the situation due thought in Yich and not always understanding the policies of the organization or institution to whom they address their complaints. It must he manifest to ail that such action can result either in the duplication of the action already taken by the Anti-Defamation League or—which is often the case—in giving the offender an erroneous viewpoint of the Jew* and his contentions. In the former case, it cannot hut cause annoyance ou the part of the willing cr unwilling offender, and in the lut-ter it only serves to mislead him further. In either case, the valuable work which for the past five years the Anti-Defamation League has accomplished in putting an end to unfair discrimination against the Jew's on the part of editors, authors, actors, theatre own-crs, filra-producers, etc*., will Is* duplicated and the efficiency of llu League will be impaired.upon t -We \ a r. i our cr, 1’ood I Hon of the nia Wednei should should of prot t he unLayi01AID i PIE?
