Veterans Bear Remains of Dead Cavalry Leader. INTERMENT IN MOUNT OLIVET Local Survivors of Famous Cole's Cavalry Join With Veterans From Baltimore in Final Tribute to Noted Commander. The remains of the late Col. Henry A. Cole arrived from Baltimore at 10 o'clock this morning over the Baltimore Ohio Railroad. The remains were met by Reynolds Post, No. 2, G. A. R., and the funeral took place from the depot, the services being conducted by Rev. Dr. Osborne Ingle. Ritualistic services were hid by Reynolds Post, and a salute was fired by a detachment from Company A1 under the command of Sergeant Man shower. After the salute, ‘taps’? was sounded by the company’s bugler. Floral tributes were sent by the Mary land Commandery, the Ciand Army Club of Maryland, Guster Post, G. A. R. and the Union Veterans’ Association of Maryland. The Loyal Legion and Com mandery were represented at the funeral. The following were pallbearers, they being survivors of the famous Cole’s Cavalry: Col. GQ. W. I. Vernon, of Company A; Capt. J. M. Zimmerman, of Company Ks; Lieutenant H. T. C. Green, of Company A; Chaplain Charles Cole, of Company B; Corporal J. J. Kabler, of Company B; Sergeant J. G. Maynard, of Company WK. In addition, the following survivors accompanied the remains: Thomas Eltonhead, of Com pany B; Frank Dixon, of Company A; and Charles A. Briscoe, of Company |. The following Frederick survivors were present: John Bedheimer, Thomas M. Wachter, Gideon R. Wachter, Arthur Cromwell and Abraham Dern, of Com pany A; Charles C. Currena, of Company C, and H. M. Main, of Company 1. Mr. Adolphus Fearhake, a cousin of Col. Cole, and a gallant soldier in the Confederate Army, Was also present. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet ceme tery. ©. C.
