Last Rites Held For▼Mrs. Alpha DickensLast rites were held for Mrs, Alpha Dickens Saturday, May 22, 1976 in Evergreen Funeral Horne.Rev. Willis Moring officiated at the services. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Pallbearers were Harold Aiken, Gordon Bowies, Gene Dearing, Kenneth Huscher,Jerry Moring and Bob Standley.Mrs. Dickens, who lived near Matheson, passed away Wednesday in Pueblo.Alpha was bom August 9, 1906 in Bokiss, Texas, She was married June 11, 1927 to Arthur Dickens in Ashmore, Texas. The couple moved to Matheson 28 years ago.She was a member of the Aenon Missionary Baptist Church.Alpha is survived by her husband, Arthur Dickens; a son, Joe Dickens of Limon; two daughters, Lanelle Dickens and Wanda Raynor, both of Colorado Springs; her mother, Evelyn Bingham, Loop, Texas,three brothers, J. H», Vernon, and J, P. Bingham, all of Loop, Texas; five sisters, Alice Kelly, Lamesa, Texas, Annie Liles, Atoka, Oklahoma, Bertha Tomlinson, Slaton, Texas, Lillie Baugh, Carlsbad, Hew Mexico and Billie Todd of Loop; two grandsons and five granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
