Central Grade School domin ated the field events in the an nual Ironwood Grade School track meet held on Longyear Field recently and went on to upset favored Newport, 40-38. Norrie School was third with 300 points and Sleight fourth and last with 13 points. Trailing, 27-15, going into the field events, Central outscored the runnerup squad, 25-11, to take the title, winning the final shot put event, while Newport took only a single point for fourth place. Four places were scored in each event: Five points for first, three for sec ond, two for third and fourth one point. One event was skipped, the 200-yard relay for fifth graders.
