New London Northern Railroad__The directors of tbe Now London Northern Rail road visited Palmer, Tuesday, for the purpose oC locating the northern terminus of that road a few rods from its present position, so that trains can more easily ^a*son to the track of the Amhent arid chert own Railroad. The Massachusetts General Court has authorised the change to he made.The New London Company has leased the Amhent and Belchcrtown Railroad for 999 years, and is to estend the line twenty miles above Amhent tp form a junction with the Vermont Central Railroad. Newbridges are being built between AmhentWand Palmer, and the road from New London to Amhent is being put in the beet possible condition. About fifty new freight end passenger can and several engines have recently been added to the rolling stock of the road and more are being obtained. The present board of directon are making every effort to accommodate the public, and we are glad to see that the business of the road is rapidly increasing.Death or Nathaniel Dawtmore1- * It.L
