LOSS OF THE PRINCESS CHARLOTTE PACKET.Liverpool, May 26.—The Robert, Sands, arrived from Nassau, N. P., from whence she sailed on the 17th ult., brings an account of the loss of the Princess Charlotte Packet, from Jamaica, on the Hogsties. The passengers and the crew, together with the mail and specie, with the exception of about 30,000 dollars, were all saved and carried into Crooked Island. The 30,000 dollars above mentioned were left in the wreck, and there was little doubt but they would be taved. The Captain of the Packet had arrived at Nassau, and chartered the schooner Primrose, in which he sailed on the 14th ult. for Crooked Island, to bring the mail, ■ passengers, and specie to England.—The Packet was lost on the 4th of April.
