Robert Moore, Canastota, has been appointed head coach of Chittenango’s varsity football team next season. Moore, who has been an as sistant coach at Chittenango for the past five seasons, will re place George Lawrence, who is moving to Wyoming to complete graduate studies at the Univers ity of Wyoming. The new head coach is a 1954 graduate of Canastota High School where he won trophies in football, baseball and basket ball. He graduated from the State University at Oswego in 1959 and joined the Canastota faculty for one year before becoming a member of the Chittenango fac ulty in September, 1960. In addition to his football coaching at Chittenango he was freshman football coach for two years and jayvee basketball coach for the past three seasons.
