Tindall, and Robert James Shipman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Shipman, all of Cor* with, were married Sunday, May 16 St 1:30 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church in Luveme. Rev. L. Witten burg performed the cere-many.Mrs. Ted Mourse, of Fort.Dodge, provided the nuptial music and accompanied Miss Katherine Jewell, of Des Moines, who sang “The Wedding Prayer” and “The Lord's Prayer”.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white floor-j length gown, fashioned with a lace bodice, Tong sleeves that came to a point at the wrist and a skirt of gstin overlaid with net and lace. Her finger-tip veil fell in folds from a pearl and sequin trimmedtiara.The bride's chosen colors of nile green and orchid were carried out with Maxine Flemming the maid of honor wearing an orchid gown of Set and taffeta. Marlene Shipman, sister of the bridegroom, and Caroline Schulz, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids and wore identicalgowns of nile green. The flower girl, Diana Shipman, niece of the bridegroom, wore orchid. Sylvia McNally and Marjorie Schulz, both cousins of the bride, lighted the candles, wearing nile green formula similar to the bridesmaids.David Shipman was his brother's bestman. Jerry Elbert and Duane Tindall, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman, and James Tindall, Jr. and William Shipman were the ushers.Two hundred guests were present at the reception held in the church parlors following the ceremony. Mrs. Herman Hinz, Mrs, Lillie Hessie, Mrs. Charles Hinz and Mrs. Albert Hippcn were kitchen hostesses. Joyce Philips, Donna Wilhelman, Elaine Wil-helman and Glenda Hansel were the waitresses. Mrs. Lyle Gourley and Mrs. Vaughn Tindall poured at the serving table, and Miss Wanda Tindall cut the wedding cake.Both the bride and bridegroom graduated from the Corwith high school with the class of 1950.
