Plan Vote in November On County Home AdditionThe proposition of a bond issue to. finance an addition to the county home may be placed before the voters in the November general election, according to the present plans of the board of supervisors,Wilson Hadley of New Providence, board chairman, announced this plan after the supervisors had given thorough study to the county home situation and had decided that it would be best to take the matter before the public in November when a larger number of voters usually go to the polls than in the June primaries.. Several counties are voting additions to county homes as the state is urging the return of elderly, mild mental cases from state hospitals to relieve congestion in those institutions. It is also claimed that those cases can be cared for more economically in county homes. The state pays $3 per week to the county for each case returned frorp a mental hospital for local care. '' Suggested preliminary plans for a county home addition, amall-br. and less costly then the one originally considered, are being prepared by an architect. The estimated cost will not be known until he reports.
