George Andrew Crookshanks, 84, of Pemberton, died at his resi dence at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, following an extended illness. Born in Greenbrier County, Oc tober 4, 1864, he was a retired miner. He had been a resident of Raleigh County for six years and was a member of the Pemberton Methodist Church. HE IS survived by one son, John A., of Pemberton; two daughters, Mrs. H. P. Tolley, of Baltimore, and Mrs. Beulah Hedrick, of North Carolina. Also surviving are a_ brother, ‘Alfred, of Ohio; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The body will remain at Caffee Funeral Home until 2 p.m. Fri day, when it will be removed to the residence. Funeral services will be held at the Pemberton Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in the Pemberton Ceme tery.
