★★We note from the Missoulian that Ed. Borders of Hot Springs, a paratrooper, stationed for some time at Helena, has recently been transferred to Florida and promoted to the rank of Captain. Captain Borders is quite an adven- ! , ,turer. A few years ago he made a |.1,60O mile ski trip from Alaska to . the States with only his dog as 1 companion. He encountered 60 below zero weather and had run-ins with grizzly bears and wolves. , Captain Borders is married to Bet-| ty Severson of Hot Springs. I
