Mother Passes Away At Birth of ChildFuneral services for Mrs. Florence Smalley, 22, who passed away in childbirth Monday in Ukiah, were held at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday from the Cleland-Schamber Funeral Homo. Rev. L. G. Brown officiated.Mrs. Smalley, a native daughter of California, had lived here about a year, at 440 Mason street. She was born at Ten Mile, near Fort Bragg.She is survived by her husband, Valjean Smalley, tv/o children, Dolores Jean and Larry Lassiter Smalley, a brother, Edward Froe-^ land of Willits, a hall'-brother, Theodore Arfstein of Willits, and on I her father, Frank Freeland of Wil-by lits.
