A hot fight is being made in Covington against Senator Goebel. The Post says : “Hon, Fred Aiders, who served in the last Legislature, it is noticed is on the campaign committee in the Third district He is an out and out anti-Goebel man, an«l is going to do all he can to defeat that gentleman in the coining Appellate race. Ahlera has declared himself, and says that the steamer Henrietta will he at Augusta when the convention is called with a stronger and more powerful delegation than, that staunch craft took to Warsaw during the last Congressional convention.''
