eThe Fourth Church.It is understood that the rumorsof the dissolution of the FourthPresbyterian church and the resig-a nation of hs pastor Rer. A. H. Carrier have been put in circulation by two of the elders of the church and that the effort at a union with the Tabernacle church does not owe its origin to any member of the latter organization. Nothing isknown at present as to what if anything .will be done. There have, it will be remembered, been two unsuccessful attempts already ter f merge the Fourth and the Tabernacle churches into one another.aIInasa
