3T Brigham Young has issued ibe following proclamatiou to the Mormon Saints ;Here ye ! all te Inhabitants or Utai* Territory*.—As the elements are again favorable for field duties, in plowing, sowing, and planting, it is highly desirable, and earnestly conceded, by tiie best experience and judgment in J our possession, that every person in our different settlements, now begin, and continue to usewall reasonable individual exertion, to raise all the grain, vegetables, fruits, stock, c., possible; that ourselves, travelers, and emigrants may rejoice in an abundance of the rich bounties of the earth, which are designed bv a kindo •Providence for the sustenance of men. To accomplish this, it will be necessary to expend a due portion of the care, labor, and skill requisite to manage a large field, or herd, to the smallest garden -^pot, and a single animal, that nothing be overlooked or neglected in attaining the desired object. It will also be necessary to put the fences in a suitable condition to protect the crops, that our expectations be not destroyed, nor our labor expended for naughtIt is also advisable, to begin this season, to build store-hou^es, in which to preserve all the surplus grain ; that we may be able to supply the demand which will be made upon us ibr provisions to support the laborers on the !
