Rhinelander JV golf team finishes seasonThe Rhinelander High School golf team concluded its season with matches May 17 and 20.The Hodags finished fifth out of six teams in a six-man match May 17 at Trout Lake Golf Club in Arbor Vitae with a team score of 423 strokes. David Solberg paced the Hodags with a round of 90. T.J. Fritz shot 106, Adam Mueller shot 109, Terry Apfel shot 118, Zach Harder carded a 127 and Gavin Cook shot 130.The Rhinelander JVs hosted Marshfield in a dual May 20 at Rhinelander Country Club. Each team fielded two squads. Rhinelander’s No. 1 squad finished second with 415 strokes. The No. 2 squad was fourth with 482 strokes. Solberg led the No. 1 squad, and finished second overall with a round of 88. Zaine Tischendorf shot 99,Mueller shot 113, Fritz shot 115 and Apfel rounded out the No. 1 squad with a 121.Brody Hageny paced the No. 2 squad with a round of 110. Harder shot 118, Cook shot 119 and JaredHoha shot 135.
