Victory lapThe Rhinelander High School girls’ soccer team returned to Rhinelander Thursday evening with a police escort after claiming the Great Northern Conference title outright with a 4-0 victory at Medford. The Hodags were picked up on U.S. highway 8 in the town of Crescent and paraded back to Rhinelander High School by units from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, the Rhinelander Police Department and the Rhinelander Fire Department.For more on the Hodags' victory, and dominant Great Northern Conference season, see Page 2B.Kyle Rogers/River News
