MOUNTAINHOME Kathleen Sherna received the certificate of recognition as the Barrett Youth of the Month for May from the Rotary Club of the Pocono Mountains. Miss Sherna was nominated for this lonur by the Pocono Central Cathlote High School because of a combination of her scholastic standing, her participation in extracur ricular activities, her qualities of leadership, and her acceptance by her peers. While maintaining above average grades, Miss Sherno has been a member of the Forensic Club, Pep Club, and Ski Club. She has been a manager of the basketball team, and has served on the Prom Committee. Miss Sherno has been ac cepted as a student next fall at the Moore School of Fine Arts, in Philadelphia. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sherno, of Cresco, at tended the dinner. Kathleen Shemo
