Speaker At Sunday Concert Msgr. Aime Giguere, pastor of St. Andre church, spoke on his recent trip to Europe at a con ference concert Sunday evening at the church hall. A program was also presented by the mixed choir of the church, arranged and directed by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Proulx. Introduced by Charles Proulx, Msgr. Giguere told of the vari ous cities which he had visited in Europe including his stay in Rome when he toured the cathe drals and art galleries. Mrs. Proulx thanked Msgr. Gi guere for speaking to the group. Outstanding among the num bers presented by the 67-voice choir was Les Bohemiennes: d’Apres les Danses Hongroises de Johnnes Brahms. Other selections included Over Hill and Dale, Op. 270, by Engel mann; Star-Spangled Banner: La Voix des Cloches, by Paul Lincke, sung in French by Miss Helene Thivierge; Habenera from the opera Carmen by Bizet, soloist, Mrs. Alice Nolette; The World is Waiting for the Sun rise, by Ernest Seitz; L’Orpheon en Voyage, by a quartet, includ ing Charles A. Proulx, first ten or, Zoel Duguay, second tenor, Herve Paqagette,, baritone, and Robert Huot, bass: L’Aube Prin taniere, a melody, by Felix Men delssohn, Op. 34, No. 2: Ave Ma ria, adapted from L’Intermezzo of Cavalleria Rusticana Mascag ni with Mrs. Blanche A.
