Ritter,Federal Inforcement Officer Joe Mor-■gan and Deputy Sheriff Fred Bradley captured a large still and its alleged owner in a raid near Sandtown bottom community late Monday afternoon. In the raid the officers arrested Albert Smith, a negro who is now in the county jail.P ►The raiders left Sallisaw Monday morning to visit the “whiskey community” of Sandtown and they raided Smith’s home finding two gallons of fresh made “corn” and about fifty yards from the house a, large copper still and fifty barrels of mash were found. The still was located in a dug-out in an isolated place, but not so isolated as to keep the keen eyes of the officers from seeing it. Smith denied being the owner of the stilling outfit, but the circumstances' were such that they landed him in jail for investigation. The still was almost new and a modern outfit, according to the raiding party. The coil being ofisolid copper and all essential parts being modem and well constructed.
