V -------------------------The community was startled by the n -port that the wife ot Mr. Leonard Bowers, living near rXIrae, had attempted to commit suicide, on Monday evening Inst, by cutting her throat with a razor. The unfortunate lady was well known in this vicinity, and as no cause is assigned for the rash attempt on her own life, it is thought she was temporarily ins me. At last reports she was still living, but it is thought she cannot recover.Barry Adage.Pad Orr ha3 gone to Texas.
