DIED.Lull--Died, at his residence in Loek-port May 17th, 1876, Albin Lull, aged eighty years. „fMr. Lull was born in Brandon, Vermont, Sept. 10, 1795.In, 1821 he was married to Miss A. M. Clifford. They have had ten children, of whom only three survive him, viz : Mrs. Geo. Gaylord, Simeon W. Lull and Miss Julia Lull.lie came to Illinois in 1835 and settled at Upper Cass, in Cook county. Here he resided about twenty years, and was well and widely known. lie had the unlimited confidence of the community, and was both elected and appointed to many positions of trust. In politics he was formerly a whig, but voted the first free-soil ticket cast in his neighborhood. Since the organization of the republican party, he has been an honest, consistent member of it, and, while not a politician in the ordinary sense of the word, has contributed much to its success.He removed to Lockporl in 1855, where he has since resided.He was for nearly half a century an earnest, working member ot the Baptist Church, and at a ripe old age, conscious ot a well-spent life, with a faith and hope that did not falter, he passed peacefully and quietly away without a physical struggle or a mental doubt.IIis noble wife, for fifty-five years the partner of his joys and sorrows survives him. She is in her seventy-eighth year, and bears her loss as none hut a true woman could.
