Saferite, 84, a lifetime resident of the Neosho Fall area, died yesterday at the Sterling Heights Manor in Iola.Mrs. Saferite was born October 20, 1883, in Woodson County.Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Gelabert, Baxter Springs, and Mrs. Helen Yoder, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three sons, Howard Saferite, Kansas City, Calvin Saferite, Carthage, Missouri, and Glenn Saferite, Neosho Falls; four sisters, Mrs. Eda Stocker and Mrs. Marie Tidd, both of Laurel, Maryland, Mrs. Stella McDaniel, Iola, and Mrs. Helen Rem-linger, Wichita; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the Methodist Church in Neosho Falls. The Rev. Roy Brown will officiate and burial will be in the Cedarvale Cemetery at Neosho Vails. The body will lie in state at the Mattingly Funeral Home. LeRoy, from noon today until noon tomorrow.
