He received Christian baptism and con-feased his Christian Faith by confirm-aton in the Gardner Prairie Lutheran Church. In 1902 he came with his parents to a farm near Renwick, Iowa where he has lived until the time of hi* passing away Saturday afternoon, May 19, 1956, at the age of 72 years, i 6 months and 6 days. He had been in failing health for the past several years.On February 17, 1915 he was united; in marriage to Miss Ellen Johnson, in 1 her parents home near Hardy, Iowa.'
