Lee, oldtimc prospector and miner, is reported to have killed himself at his cabin on Dome Creek, tributary of Woodchopper.Mr. Lee had been in ill health two or three years, and last winter he was not able to leave his cabin.Body Found Last Tuesday The body was found last Tuesday by George McGregor, a neighbor, who called to see how Mir. Lee was getting along. Apparently, the old-timer had put the muzzle of a .30-30 rifle in his mouth and pressed the trigger.Mr. McGregor reported to E. N. Patty, manager of the Alluvial Golds dredge camp on Woodchopper, and Mr. Patty notified the authorities.Inquest is Held Acting on instructions from the marshal's office, miners in the camp held an inquest, decided that it was a case of suicide, and buried Mr, Lee near his cabin.The oldtimer was more than 70 years of age. Although he had been in ill health, he was not devoid of means, having income enough to live on, Mr. Patty reported.
