The ladies of the town interested in Lawn Bowling held a meeting in the Public Library on Friday evening for the purpose of organizing a club, for election of officers, and to plan the season's activities. There was an ex cellent attendance and great interest shown. Officers elected were as fol lows: President, Mrs. Daly; Vice-Presi dent, Mrs. R. H. Githuly; Secretary, Mrs. H. Fraser; Treasurer, Mrs. C. Johnson. The ladies hope to have three rinks chosen and be in readiness to play by today. The membership fee for the season was set at $2.50. All ladies wishing to join are requested to hand their names in to the secretary.
