BROWNING LOST TO N. BOSTON, SUNDAYThe Game Was A Hot One New Boston 3: Browning 2Browning suffered their first defeat of the season last Sunday when they motored to New Boston and met the ’ fast team of that little inland city. It was a battle royal from start to finish and was any bod ys game until the last man was out in the ninth inning. A large crowd was on hands from the surrounding country, while many fans from here accompanied the home team and enjoyed the game, as well as the trip there and back, as it was an ideal day for motoring. Daniels started on the hill for Browning and held the hard hitting Ndw Boston team to three runs during the six innings he pitched. He was succeeded by young Kennedy, the knuckle ball artist who was invincible, as far %s scoring was concerned. This boy looks like the goods and you will all have a chance to see for yourselves in the near future. Franks and McCarty pitched for new Boston and Vroom and Pringle were the catchers. All did good work. In fact it was as good a game as anyone would want to see. The teams are evenly matched and will meet again soon.
