Oniy One Victim in Bed. '*Marshalltown Timeo-Republican:Paul Swift, circulation manager of the Waterloo Reporter, who was one of the many passengers injured In the Rock Island wreck near Green Mountain nine weeks ago today, was discharged from St. Thomas hospital Sunday and returned to his homo, accompanied by his mother, who has been with him ever since the accident. Mr, Swift’s fractured leg has been placed in a plaster cast to avoid the danger of being fractured again before the leg becomes strong. Jay Sweitzer of Waterloo, also one of the wreck Injured, has so far recovered as to he able to be taken in a clialr to the hospital veranda, and get a sight ot the outdoor world. Swoitzer’s leg will be placed In a plaster cast within a few days. Mrs. William Tietz, of Reinbeck, ie not yet able to he out of her room, although, she Is improv-. ing nicely.
