Jackson Dennis at Niles,The Oakland Knqmrer of May โ20 gives a flattering article, occupyingan entire page of that paper, concerning the upbuilding of Niles, in Alameda couuty, and the promineut part taken therein by Jackson Dennis of Sutter Creek. The article goes on to say that the growth of Niles is due to the Sutter Creek resident, who on account of his health, sought that town as a suitable place not only for residence, but for the investment of capital in the starting up of new industries. Mr Dennis organized the Sutter Creek State Bank, and is still a prominent stockholder therein. He also took the initiative in the build-ug of the I. and E.
