morning about four lock Louis Sanft, of Tupper, died a home in that place. While at work plowing a few days previous he receiv ed a hurt which was not attended to in time, and hence, his death. He had been a resident of this district for some time, coming here from Germany. ‘On Tuesday evening about ten o'clock Mrs. John McCrae, of Gladstone, pas sed quietly away to her long home. On Friday morning last she was stricken down with appoplexy, and for the fol lowing date her death was expected. She is a daughter of Mr and Mrs. M. McKensie, of Palestine, and has been a resident in the district for the past eighteen years, coming from Ontario here with her parents. Her death is particularly sad as she leaves behind four small children to mourn the lose of loving and affectionate mother from their earliest childhood. Her husband, Mr. McCrae, has the sincere sympathy of the entire community in this, his saddest hour of affliction, the death o f loved and lot Thera will take plac ean 1 from the ly residence to the Gladstone cem etery.
