A petition is being circulated for a grant of 2# feet from property owners on main sireet to make said street wider. This is something that every one called upon should sign without objections. Main street is narrow and the 2 feet would improve it.Road supervisor Jos. H. Ptak, Matt Ptak, Jos Tupa and Vaclav Kortan are erecting a bridge in section 3, the old one being been crushed by the threshing steam engine belonging to the Mennoni-te Colony last Monday.The engine while passing over the old bridge broke thru. Mr. Ptak informed us that they will now put up a bridge that will hold two such engines.
